Advance Chinese New year to my Readers out there.. How's my readers doing lately? Anyone missing out my post? keke..

Let's get some update about this Tiffany Chiam. Oh.. Let's talk about my results. The previous post i mentioned about when will my results out and it's out a day after the post. How's my results so far? Sadly, there's a little decline.. The previous sem i have B overall and now dropped a little to C+ . So sad.. Maybe i guess the courses are getting harder and harder.. I couldn't imagine this semester, there are courses like corporate law, advance corporate reporting, auditing... How should i survive? The names are already scary!!!

This semester i have a deal with my friend to do notes after every lectures... But what? CNY is around the corner... Neither me nor her has the mood to do notes?? That's sad... I did do some notes during the lecture, note down what he/she had taught. But it's messy... ... Anyway, I will improve further in notes writing.. gambateh Tiffany!!!

Did any of you experience everything expire within the month? January is such a bad month... My student pass expired in the month of january, and so do my IC. And there goes so coincidence, my driving license which valid for 3 years has came to its maturity date... Oh goshhh!!! .. I couldn't get to renew my driving license because of my IC. And so I have to renew my student pass and after that, do IC!!! .. Do you know how troublesome it is??? Altogether the procedures took like 2 - 3 weeks.. I couldn't drive for the pass weeks. But thank god, i have just settled everything.. Just got my license done last week. And what comes to worst? My broadband too barred.. I bought my macbook together with the dst plan and the broadband plan is valid for i don't know how many years. And 2 months ago, it has expired that i didn't know till this month it's barred... My family doesn't plan to continue it since i have e-speed at home. But the e-speed is like sh*T!!! No broadband in hostel... Can i survive? Yes, i can... STUDY!!! hehehe

Have you guys prepared for CNY? I just went to miri today and the que is like... O.O .. When i was on the journey to miri, i queued up 2 km away from custom... Can you imagine 2 kM?!! And on the way back to brunei at night, the queue started at miri tow the place where you pay rm10 per entry. Wow... but anyway, i have got all the stuffs i wanted. I found a red cloth for my cny first day.. hehehe.

Happy New year to all my readers... May this 2011 brings more joy and happiness.. =)

How was new year going on everyone? I spent my new year eve watching piranha at home.. fish killer.. ;S

Time flies.. It's january now 2011. Just a blink of an eye, uni gonna reopen soon. I'm currently enjoying my tv life at home, as last month i was at miri working. I don't have much time left for dramas... These 2 days i have been busy watching dramas and movies till I feel like headache from too much series.. haha. I still have 1 week left.. no.. less than 1 week before uni reopen.

Less than 1 week before uni reopen, and I'm still waiting for my results!!! Should i be nervous? or relax?? Yesterday was monday, I felt nervous as everyone said monday results out... But ended up tunggu langsat... What about today??? The whole afternoon... I stick with my series/dramas.. not switching facebook for news nor even msn.. I don't remember if i signed in msn. Maybe there is.. haha. But still, result's not out... What about tomorrow? tomorrow will be wednesday. Will results out on Wednesday?? What's the probability results out tomorrow? Let's get back to our mathematics. Probability results out tomorrow, out or not out. 50:50? 50%? correct or not???

I wonder why, I felt hungry every night. Supper is fattening... Cook mee is even worst off... Maybe i always had 50% full for dinner? That's why i always look for food at night!!! lol.. Just now I look through the refrigerator and made a dessert for my family. Normally people make Honeydew sago, in chinese it is Mi gua xi mi lu. It's a very nice dessert. But i couldn't find any Honeydew sago instead i found some leftover papaya!!! Look for recipe from the net and got myself papaya xi mi lu... I never make any honeydew/papaya xi mi lu before, i cooked the sago, and ran everything into the pot and let it boil. Felt so happy i have made it, my mum came over to see what i have done... And she say... "Why do you boil everything?? have you ever eaten "hot" xi mi lu before??? In restaurant they are served cold!!! " LOL...

The correct way should be, cook the sago, and add it in to milk with sugar syrup, and then lastly add in cut papayas.. Just like that... how easy...

With my super hot papaya sago, it tastes not bad actually... But I leave it cool first then add some ice.. and It's done!! hehe.

Good evening my readers! It's christmas eve now... I'm here wishing all my readers Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...

How's christmas eve going? Time flies... I didn't realize it's christmas eve now till yesterday morning i saw somebody's facebook comment about christmas eve tomorrow.. We are quitting later.. Going back to Brunei later afternoon or evening. How's business going on? I would say marketing and strategic planning is very important in business success.

What I have learnt, what kind of business you open related to the kind of customer you will attract. Just like opposite my shop there opened a new dessert shop, with a varieties of desserts available, nice interior and exterior designs as well as with air conditioned. They attract rich customers.... There were times i was sitting in my shop, spotting luxury cars like mercs, bmw, camry, lexus and so forth, they parked next to my shop and walked in to the dessert shop. These are Miri cars, with malaysia car plate. Miri people with these kind of cars can say like... they are very rich... Or should i say they are like bruneians keep spend spend and spend like there's no tomorrow? I found those rich aunties too, with branded bags and clothes, hair blew up till high like the mountain...! hahaha...

What about my cafe? What customers do we attract? Most of our customers drive like atos, proton cars, and so forth. Our customers are all very stingy people. Not all i suppose, maybe some are generous. I remembered there was an uncle came and ask the price of our leftover half stream chicken. I said RM 10 for half portion. That uncle gave a smelly face said, " what?? so expensive???! the next next shop only sell RM 16 or RM 17 for whole chicken and we sell RM10 for half portion so costly!!!" I still remember his smelly face!!! hahaha. He wants discount but we insist with our current price. My mum just went to ask the market price of steam chicken, and there goes rm 20+ for whole chicken ... and my brother said to me, " got RM 18!!!! that is years back!!"

What kind of business you do really attract what kind of customers... Our customers are mostly low income earners, while the dessert shop's customers are medium or high income. Or maybe it's still fresh i guess? My dad said, who would eat desserts everyday? It depends ... Just like kokoberry shop, taiwan ice shops, as well as shiki sushi restaurant, they are all located at our areas, and they closed down!!! Just few months away i see they are opened, and i wanted to try the taiwan ice and now??? Can you feel the creepiness which shop would be next??? My friend told me she heart shiki sushi restaurant moved... i'm not sure tho.. hopefully..

好人難做

I was driving the other day listening to radio, and they came up with this topic “好人難做” . And I totally agreed with it. Don't you think so? There are so many people around us. There are the good ones and the bad ones. How do you face them? The good ones that will be alright just be good to them too. People said how they treat you that's how you treat them back. If they treat you bad or terrible, would you be bad to them too? If you treat them good, they would take advantages... What should the 好人 do?

According to the radio, “好人”will always be ranked below the “坏人”. This is because good people don't like challenges, they don't really strive in order to achieve something. They think that if it's yours, it will come to you one day. The good people tend to give way and this gives the bad people opportunities. “坏人”will strive until end and never give up for something he/she wants. For example, if "好人" being a manager and "坏人" is an employee. 坏人 will set the manager as a target in order to takeover his/her position. The manager doesn't set target and sees everyone as one. If "坏人" is a manager and "好人" an employee, the 坏人 will observe everyone carefully and demolish those who could influence him.

What the radio suggest us to be? If we become “好人”, we tend to be bullied by the “坏人”. Be a good person or a bad person? Some people thinks that good people will receive good retribution. Is that so? If it is true, when will you receive good retribution? Until you get old?
I'm not sure what the radio said, if you don't want to be bullied, and don't want to be too harsh. Then it would be better to be "好的贱人" . It means like from outside you treat people nicely, people think you're a good person but internally you're opposite. You observe analyze everything and plan them nicely and kick them out when the time comes?


I think this kind of person is the worst. But this kind of person success most of the time. 好人 is soooo hard to be. Let's learn how to be harsh... =)


Let's get back to my miri life. Lunch time is the most busiest hours, and there's time we are lack of employees and those. Last 2 days i was helping up and guess what? One customer order 1 steamchicken rice, he want drumstick. I told my maid and ask her to cut the chicken, but nobody is free at that time, people order ABC, rojak. End up??? I cut the chicken!!!

It's very simple rite... Use the knife and "dork dork dork" . My first time ever cutting chicken... It's a very funny experience... Can you imagine a lady cutting chicken? It's like very ... what do you call that.. haha .. Normally drumstick side from thien thien, how many pieces can they cut? At first i cut it very nice, I cut the drumstick into 3 pieces. I didn't get to take pictures.. My maid said I cut till too big... 1 more chop from me... and the drumstick goes... ...

Can't think about it and fast fast spray the source over and pass it to customer...

My mum's bak kut teh is getting famous very soon... I got a nice bak kut teh picture and make my menus, I stick it at the shop and the next day there goes 9 bowls of bak kut teh out!!! There is this sentence 人靠衣饰. Everyone judge a book by its cover..

Greetings to my readers, how's life going everyone? I went back to brunei for visit 2 days ago and now back to miri life.

I was in a newspaper when i sit for the proficiency test. Wonder if anyone read the newspaper and spotted me? I think no... hahaha.. They only snap picture from behind.

Spot spot me??? Very easy ahhh... the brightest hair colour.. LOLL

Ohh... Remember my nerdyy spec i had years back or blogged it years back?? Should i always recall back what i have blogged? So you guys get to read my previous post.. ho ho ho.. My nerdy spec finally rest in peace.. sob sob.. It broke down since last week when i was playing with my niece and my sister thrown it away when i bought my new spec.. sniff sniff.. i still miss my nerdy spec..

Here goes my new spec.. I heard today's trend is half frame and i got myself half frame glasses. I never bought a half frame spec before cause i used to think it looks old. But anyway, it doesn't look as bad i guess... The shape is more or less like my old glasses.." mo di sun yi" ? lol. haha

My mind is so blank now what should i write??? Anything my readers wish to hear from me??

Happy Holidays...!

Happy Holiday to my readers... Finally my exams are over and it's time to relax~ And it's time to update my ongoing to my readers too! I know i still have loyal readers.. ;)

My last exam was on sunday, ubd last exam was actually on saturday poor me have to sit for exam on a beautiful sunday. The exam on sunday was actually from outside, i took the japanese proficiency test. Hope I could get good grades... Was stressing myself on a saturday night.. poor poor poor me.

And what's the poorest? at first i thought i can get to japan after my sunday exam cos they fly on monday. Sigh~ now what? greet them have a safe flight and enjoy their trip.. sniff sniff~

And guess what? I forgot to eat my lunch after my exam on sunday, come back kb, rest a while, pack stuffs and head to miri. Completely forgotten about my lunch till i reach miri at ard 5+ or 6 and my stomach starts to drum. Anyone has the same experience as me? LOL. It's so funny how can you forget bout your lunch...

I'm currently at miri helping up my mum and sister to jaga shop. Should i say jaga shop? or mess it up? Yesterday i serving customers order food and drinks. I ask them what do they want to drink. I didn't know my dad sell sea coconut drink here. One customer asked me do you have what "hai di ye" , i thought it was those like fresh coconut drink, and I don't see any coconuts here, thus i say don't have. And the customer frowned and wonder why got the poster at the wall and he order other drink. I didn't know what poster he was mentioning about till the next day i saw people order sea coconut ping, it's actually not those fresh coconuts but those like juice and add water. And there's poster sticking on the wall too. LOL.

My dad's shop is lack of chef, my mum and sister want to take advantage of this one month to promote, provide economic food and stuffs. It's a holiday for me and my sister.. my sister is a teacher and that's why she's having holidays when students are too. We sell bak kut teh too! It's done by my mum. She's a great chef. haha. And the bak kut teh only sell for one month!!! Come come try it out.. At Li da HUa cafe, near boulevard, next next to hongkong duck restaurant. If you still don't get it, just call me.. my number is ... ... ... haha. pm me lol. ;p

Till here i guess, to friends whom are still studying or work already, i know today is a public holiday.. enjoy to the max pals.. ;)

Hello my beloved readers,

Just a short update about myself, i just realised i haven't been blogging since the start of this semester. And this semester is going to end really soon! Exams are coming. I guess my coursemates should be busy studying as well as completing their assignments as soon as possible. Same goes to me too! Revision week are coming in just 1 week time! And there goes the exam time~

Time is running like water.. I wish time could slow down for me to get revision done... I really really really want a good concentration for my studies...

I have been forcing myself not to think about anything else but to study! study!
I used to be an optimistic person. I never want to judge anything or anyone till i see it with my own eyes. But nevertheless, things always don't go to the way i want it to be. What to do... There's nothing i can do... Life's still goes on..

What's life? We live life through ups and down. If we always live life with happiness, life wouldnt be challenging aint it? Recently i was enough down. And what makes it worst off? My japanese teacher had been giving me hope that all the advance japanese students are entitle for this japan trip in this coming december. My first impression is like ...

" What? all advance students? true or not? I'm a foreigner, is brunei really that good to allow me for this trip with FREE foods and accomodation??? " My teacher again add up, " Doesn't matter if you're not a Brunei PR, as long as you're UBD students, you are qualify for this trip"

I have a bit "xin tong" .. i get to japan.. so happy.. But on the other hand i have a feeling things wouldn't go that easy... So i didn't give much expectation about this trip. As time goes by, my teacher keep mentioning about this trip and till i get the application form and time meeting up, i really tot this japan trip is really coming, my trip to japan is a step nearer!


And what? the happiest moment always receive a disappointment news. Brunei would never provide benefits to foreigners!!! What to say, i stayed in Brunei for more than 20 years!!!

Sigh~ That is what call life i guess...
Just work harder next time and buy a ticket to japan with my own money...
